3. SIG aims to: To engage with SCS members on benefits of open collaboration to create software, hardware and services based on open source principles and thereby fostering an eco-system of thriving open source software/hardware practitioners and businesses
4. Activities for 2013 There were no significant activities organized this year because of change of the committee members. We expect to get back on track in 2014.
5. 2014 Plans  Talk on OpenStack and the Hybrid Clouds  Internet of Things and Open Source (collaboration with Internet Society Singapore Chapter)  Disaster Preparedness using Open Source Tools and Techniques: A hands-on seminar  Talk on Security and Surveillance: Using Open Source Technologies for Highest Possible Lock Down.
