  2. Eligibility for Udyam Registration In India, who is qualified for

    Udyam registration? Not all enterprises in India are required to seek Udyam registration. The entities listed below are eligible for Udyam registration if they are classed as micro, small, or medium companies based on their investment in plant and machinery. MSME Udyam Registration Web Portal
  3. Becoming an Enterprise Anyone planning to start a Micro, Small,

    or Medium Enterprise in India should secure an Udyam registration. After registration, an entity known as Udyam is issued a permanent identifying number known as the Udyam Registration Number. After completing the registration process, an Udyam Registration Certificate is issued. All units with the Goods and Services Tax Identification Number (GSTIN) that are listed against the same Permanent Account Number (PAN) should be treated as one enterprise, and the turnover and investment figures for all entities should be viewed together, with only the aggregate values being considered for determining the category as a micro, small, or medium enterprise.   4. Calculation of investment in plant and machinery The computation of

    investment in plant and machinery or equipment must be connected to the previous year's Income Tax Return submitted under the Income Tax Act of 1961. In the event of new firms where no ITR filing is available, the investment will be based on the promoter's self-declaration, and this relaxation will terminate after the 31st March of the fiscal year in which the first ITR is submitted. The word "plant and machinery or equipment" of the firm should have the same meaning as it is ascribed to the plant and machinery in the Income Tax Rules,1962 are under the Income Tax Act,1961 and shall comprise physical assets other than land and buildings, furnishings, and equipment. The invoice value of a plant and machinery or equipment, whether acquired new or used, should be examined, and GST should be deducted on a self-disclosure basis if the firm is newly founded and does not have an ITR. The cost of certain goods indicated in explanation I to subsection 7 of the Act should be omitted from the computation of the amount invested in plant and machinery.
  5. Calculation of turnover Exports of goods or services, or both,

    should be excluded when calculating the turnover of a business, whether it is micro, small, or medium in size. An enterprise's turnover and export turnover should be connected to the Income Tax Act or the CGST and the GSTIN. The turnover relevant to the numbers of such company that does not have a PAN shall be examined on a self-declaration basis for the period up to and including March 31, 2021. The PAN and GSTIN will be required.
  6. Documents Required for Udyam Registration In order to get Udyam

    Registration in the instance of Proprietorship, the applicant's Aadhar card and PAN are required. Similarly, in the case of a sole proprietorship, the applicant's Aadhar card and a valid PAN card are necessary. In the event of a partnership, the partner's Aadhar and PAN must be used. The Directors Aadhar and PAN might be employed in the case of a firm. In the event of an LLP, the chosen partner's Aadhar and PAN card must be utilised. If the applicant or an authorised signatory does not have a valid Aadhar Card, he or she must first enrol for one at an Aadhar enrolment facility. Once the Aadhar is received, the Udyam Registration process may begin.
