2. SME DataLAB 42 Activities • They will be three major activities undertaken by the SME DataLAB 42 project at the UvA: • Datalab Sprint • Datalab Workshop/Masterclass • Inspire Session
3. Datalab Workshop/Masterclass • Bring AI and data science expertise of the UvA to companies • Present a Masterclass on a specific AI or data topic • Have tangible takeaways from the session • Provide student support after the session
4. Datalab Sprint • Project carried out by a student at an SME under the guidance of a project leader. Project delivers a predetermined deliverable. The project is defined data project solves a concrete issue, with the entrepreneurial question central. From trend analysis, to dashboard development or even predictive models. Working with bachelor or master students in data science, informatics, Artificial Intelligence and others.
5. Datalab Sprint • 8-10 weeks • 60-80 working hours total or 6-10 hrs per week • € 3.000 cost for the company
