Neos can help saving the planet

Neos can help saving the planet

Each user of a website produces CO2 for each page view. Pages with a high amount of video, non scaled big images, without caching mechanisms and a lot of clutter on the site produces way more CO2 than they have to. We as developers and decision makers in companies can have a huge impact on the environment. When we choose renewable energies for hosting, declutter the website structure, lower the date transfer rate and computing power we can save a lot of CO2.

We also get the bonus of better accessibility and a higher page rank on search engines when we optimize or applications to be more substainable and Environmentally friendly. So it could be a win-win solution for the customer and the planet.
