Cross-Sectional Analysis – Description
Cross-sectional analysis is a research approach in which data are collected from a population or sample at a particular point in time or during a short, defined period. It provides a “snapshot” of the characteristics, attitudes, behaviours, conditions, or relationships existing within a population at that time.
In educational research, cross-sectional analysis can be used to study variables such as academic achievement, learning attitudes, digital literacy, socioeconomic status, teaching practices, or language proficiency among different groups of students.
