The Mercari Group operates Mercari, Japan's largest marketplace app where anyone can exchange their loved goods from their smartphones, and Merpay, the easy-to-use mobile payment service within the Mercari app. With our mission to create value in a global marketplace where anyone can buy & sell, we have released the Mercari app in Japan and the US. Established in 2013, Mercari has grown in size to over 1,800 employees. Our diverse team members are from around 40 countries and regions, with each possessing different skills and backgrounds. Together, we are aiming to create a service from Japan which can be used anywhere in the world.

    Value Evaluations Peer Reviews We evaluate our employees both through their output toward OKRs and their embodiment of the company’s “values”. Submit your technical assessment upon completion. Interviews take around 30-60 minutes. We also carry out online interviews through Google Hangouts and Skype regardless of whether you live in Japan or overseas. Candidates can have their interviews in either English or Japanese. We will reach out to successful candidates to discuss offers.
