6. A reality that’s not monolithic
 • Many people are positive about it, but others remain cautious.
 • Some team members struggle to find time to catch up.
 • Fortunately, we have full support from our managers

7. Organizational promotion system
 • AI Task Force — Active since July
 ◦ This isn’t just about engineers using AI; it’s a company-wide initiative at Mercari.
 ◦ We’re documenting existing processes and identifying areas where AI can be applied.
 • Beyond the Task Force’s activities, we’re also building an environment that can continuously adapt to AI advancements.

8. How to proceed with using AI in engineering organizations
 • I conducted individual interviews across the MoM/EM/TL layers.
 ◦ Engineers are already using AI proactively.
 ◦ Information summarization is where AI truly excels.
 • I haven’t found an ideal all-in-one solution yet.
 • At this rate, human information processing capacity might become the bottleneck before we find one…
