1. The story of Rama and Sita By Niccolo’ Marino
2. One day there lived a beautiful girl called Sita. She had a husband called Rama.
3. One day they were banished from their kingdom. Sita’s sister joined them in exile.
4. The evil king Ravana kidnapped Sita and took her to his kingdom.
5. Fortunately Sita left a path of jewelry for Rama to follow.
6. When the path finished, Rama met a brave monkey Hanuman. He sent a message to all monkeys in the world to find Sita.
7. The monkeys found Sita trapped on an island. The monkeys built a bridge. The monkeys fought a mighty battle with Ravana.
8. Rama borrowed a golden arrow and shot Ravana. Finally Ravana died.
9. Rama rescued Sita. When they returned back home, all Hindus lit oil lamps to celebrate their return. That is why we celebrate Diwali.
