indirectly. I believe that those issues are much more popular than we could imagine. It’s just no one talks about this.» 2. «After last year, when I myself experienced these problems, I take it[MH] very seriously. I seems that it’s very romantisized and «trendy» to have some kind of problems, many self-diagnose groundlessly. Whilist there are people with real problems who doesn’t even know [thy have them] or be afraid/shy to share and ask for help.»
think, there are loads of people who didn’t get any help when they needed it, because of the attitudes towards them in the society, especially in post-soviet environment. And I think we need to start a conversation with young parents, school teachers etc.»
feel as if the older I get, the more acute the problem becomes. The speed of our life is faster, more problems, escpecially when you’re always on FB, it’s unsustainable... The amount of news, I mean, it’s frying my brain. Sometimes I want to go back in time, at least for a day, just to give myself a break from data. Actually I think it’s great that in the world MH is becoming as important as physical health e.g. it’s okay to take a day-off due to mental health. Even popular game related youtubers stream to support this issue. Even I made a donation to American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.»
helped is when I told my friend. That fact that my parents knew about it and I knew that they could help me in case something happens. And finally, I did everything to disctact myself from that, walked a lot, tried to be as outside my room most of the time.» 2. «a well-known «try not to think about it»))) I mean, at first I acknowlaged I have some sort of problem, tried to find out the reason and realised it’s not something severe and I can overcome it myself. I tried to occupy myself with literally anything, just so I would have time to think of what’s wrong with me) All this stuff, like meeting with friends, sometimes didn’t work though. Much better to do something more serious, then I didn’t feel as if I’m wasting my time.» 3. «I started to be interested in literally everything, and life became much faster than it was...» 4. «I worked on myself. I learned to escape from those mental states and it still helps me. Mostly self-improvement books and supportive and empathetic people.»

abstract question really. I’m okay with that, but I think that people didn’t have so many problems before as we have now.» «Why do you think that?» «I don’t know...partly, because many talk about metal disorders now and almost anyone can relate to some symtoms without therapist. That’s why you often discover you have one symptom and then unconsciouly find more and you become ‘consumed’ by it and emphasize on imaginary problem. On the other hand, I think, MH problems come from progress, e.g. social media or because people had a model of a normal lifestyle before and they were generaly confident in their actions. Nowadays, we dont’ have one standard so a person feels lost. I suppose this couses stress, depression or worse.»
googled and went through sites looking for something in particular, but more often the article just pops up and I read it e.g. on wondezine or medium. I mean the articles on topic which interests me permanetly.» «Was it articles on problems that you personally experienceв or was it just general interset?» «Most often - general interest, though at times I would read it and can really realte to that.»
