Prem'day - Sharing infrastructure stories

Cloud infrastructures emerged over the past decade dramatically reducing the number of companies operating a bare-metal infrastructure. Out of the well-known hyper scalers, several smaller companies still maintain a fleet of servers on-premise; facing more and more complexity with newer hardware and ever-increasing energy consumption.

Prem'day is a one-day conference that came out of the minds of Scaleway and Criteo hardware teams after figuring out that they are facing similar challenges and looking at similar solutions.

Scalers will openly share their experience on topics such as performance, architecture, cooling, power efficiency, firmware, rack density, and impact on cost efficiency, all based on their daily practice. It's also the opportunity to discuss the existing solutions, open or closed.
The day will be organized around 6 x 45mn talks interlaced with pauses and lunch to offer a good sharing experience between all participants. A unique experience where users and vendors can meet to exchange transparently about the usage of on-premise infrastructures.
