  34. A developer I know uses terminal for everything. I mean

EVERYTHING. He says that UIs get in the way and slow him down. While this might be an extreme example, don’t just write this feedback off - he has a valid point. If something is beautiful, but too slow to use, its useless. Just remember that the opposite is also true: If something is lightning fast, but too difficult to figure out, its useless. Which is why we don’t all use Terminal for everything. Terminal image: http://siegerstein.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/12/Screen-shot-2010-12-12-at-1.17.53-PM.png

  39. If you need any proof that constraints actually increase creativity,

I could talk about Haiku or sonnets, but here’s a visual example. The original Star Wars movie was filmed on a shoe-string budget without any fancy computer generated effects. Episode 1 had an unlimited budget and every CGI creature Lucas could throw at it. Need I say more? http://www.thatfilmguy.net/wp-content/uploads/2011/09/star-wars.jpg
