This slid deck explores the critical evolution of Ethereum's infrastructure beyond traditional validator roles, examining the emerging landscape of non-traditional infrastructure that is crucial for the network's scalability and future growth. Our research investigates four key infrastructure components: Layer 2 scaling solutions, MEV infrastructure, RPC & API services, and data availability systems, analyzing their interconnected roles in managing Ethereum's exponential growth. We present findings on current infrastructure challenges, including the management of 12-14TB daily data, coordination across 12,000+ global nodes, and handling of 1.2M+ daily transactions. The talk comprehensively analyzes market opportunities within these sectors, projected to reach $5.5B by 2027, and proposes novel architectural approaches for addressing scalability, security, and decentralization challenges. Examining existing implementations and emerging solutions, we contribute a framework for understanding the evolving infrastructure landscape and identify critical areas for future development in Ethereum's ecosystem.
