    resources about the world’s rangelands through the suite of web sites: Global Rangelands, Rangelands West, state sites and eXtension Rangelands •to provide public and private land managers as well as researchers, Extension professionals, and educators with quality information, resources, and tools to improve management and ensure rangeland sustainability •to inform public debate and decision-making regarding today's grand challenges of food security, climate adaptation, public health, environmental impacts, and economic development
