11, 2023 10:12AM 2:37 SUMMARY KEYWORDS momentum, resting, rhythms, energy, schedules, playdate, social, patterns, easier, cycle, capitalizing, shaky, preface, rare occasion, syncing, progress, perfection, day, birthday party, today SPEAKERS Patricia Sung Patricia Sung 00:01 So how are we going to make that happen? Here's the two goals they want to take instead of us trying to be robots. Number one is the thing I say all the time, progress, not perfection. We're not trying to be consistent every day. What we're trying to do is match what you need throughout the day with what you have available at that time. And this gets easier with experience. So like, I want to preface that, like, I've been doing cycle syncing for like, probably two years now. So the more that I get used to what my patterns are, the easier it is for me to plan for them. At the beginning, I was like, I have no idea what I need right now. And I hate everybody. And that is not the same. Now, I don't know, there's still days, right, everybody. But now I know, okay, this part of the month like this is not a time for me to be planning social thing, I don't want to host a playdate. I don't want to have a birthday party. Like that's not the time for that. And, you know, in the times where I have all the energy, like, that's where I want to lean into those things. So we're going to get better at this as we go. We also will gain momentum as you get used to this. So as you start to adjust your schedules, and your patterns and your rhythms both during the day, and like you know, with your cycle or you know, the all the pieces start falling into place, it gets easier and easier to make it work because you start to gain momentum. And if you think about it as kind of like hyper focus, like when you get really like into something. At the beginning, it's a little bit shaky. But then like when you hit that, like on the rare occasion that you can hit like that hour mark an hour and a half mark and you're just flying through stuff. The same thing happens with as you start to match your schedules and your rhythms to what your natural rhythms are. It you get this momentum going in, you're really capitalizing on the times where you're doing things that are great and you're really resting in the times where you're resting. And those things end up feeding off each other because in because you gave yourself the rest when you need it. You have more energy to do the more fun things and the more exciting things the more social things and when you have done all the social things and you hung out with all the people you needed to hang out with. You don't feel as bad to be able to say I am not doing anything today because today's arrest I
