University of Osaka and with Plone • The University of Osaka is a large university in Japan. • The University is using Plone for its official site, its intranet site, and various other sites since 2009. • The first version related to our project is Plone 3.0.
ResOU https://resou.osaka-u.ac.jp • ResOU is one of the sites that we worked on, used for introducing official researched releases • The site has introduced over 1200 releases since 2012 • The site is available in Japanese and English, almost all content can read in both languages
the site • ResOU was improved by Volto and Plone 5.2 • We delivered last week!! • The design concept uses the new technology and is a great User Experience on a smartphone
project • We decided to use Volto at the last Plone Conference • We explained the good points of Volto and SPA site to our customer • We made some demo projects and some challenging implementations • We encountered some errors and confusing issues • The project was postponed for half a year • But we related to support with Timo and Victor
satisfaction • They are satisfied with the delivery of the SPA site. • We are happy with our experience using Volto • We know CMS and SPA are very difficult, but we were successful.
