  1. When you have really long lines of text it becomes

    difficult for the user to read, in part because it becomes more difficult to track your eye from the end of one line to the start of the next. The length of the line is called the measure, research suggests that the ideal range is somewhere between 45 - 75 characters. Whatever length you decide on, just be aware that the longer your lines the more space, or leading, you need between them to make it easier for the user to actually read all that awesome stuff you wrote.
  2. See what I mean? This copy is the exact same

    size as that on the previous slide, so this isn’t entirely* a trick on your eyes. But the extra space between the lines makes it way easier for you to read this. In fact, you’ve probably read it in half the time and effort to what you did previous slide, so you can get back to listening to what I’m saying. *ok, maybe one trick in my favor
