3. Dialog MELL: Yeah
4. Dialog MELL: And we had to fix that screw-up too!!
6. Dialog DAVE: I'm just saying, it's not that big a deal!
7. Dialog ARTIE: Hey, look!
8. Action Notes Mell and Dave look up.
10. Action Notes Dave walks up alongside Mell.
11. Action Notes Camera pans up through a trail, stopping at some ruined Dave buildings.
12. Action Notes Dave stares in awe.
13. Dialog MELL: If you think we're going up there-- Action Notes Mell suddenly hobbles on top of him
14. Dialog MELL: --you're going to carry me, goon!
15. Dialog MELL: YA! Action Notes Mell pulls Dave backwards. Artie falls off Mell.
16. Dialog MELL: Onwards, faithfull-- Action Notes Mell kicks Dave in the ribs.
17. Dialog MELL: --steed! Action Notes Dave begins to run
18. Action Notes Artie runs after Dave.
19. Action Notes Artie grabs Dave's pant leg.
23. Action Notes EXT. JUNGLE TRAIL UNDER TREE CANOPY - DAY. Fade in on the Dave buildings, now closer than before.
24. Action Notes Dave tiredly stumbles into frame, panting.
25. Dialog DAVE: Wait- huff, I recognize that from the brochure. Action Notes Mell is waving a large leaf as a fan and sipping from a cup made from a leaf, looking refreshed and pleasant. Artie is riding on Mell’s shoulder, fanning himself with an even smaller leaf.
26. Dialog DAVE: This is Forsaken David’s Island!
27. Dialog MELL: So you broke you out of prison, only to end up where you were going anyway? Action Notes Mell throws her hands up, throwing away her leaf cup in the process.
28. Dialog ARTIE: I’m not sure why we even struggle against the inevitable sometimes. Action Notes Dave continues to truck on.
30. Action Notes RUINED PRISON ISLAND COMPOUND - DAY. Cross fade to the entrance of the Dave building.
31. Action Notes Dave slowly approaches, dragging his feet.
32. Action Notes Dave flops over on the steps, collapsing face down.
34. Action Notes Mell steps on Dave's hand as she dismounts.
35. Action Notes Dave holds his hand with his othe hand.
37. Dialog MELL: What gives? Action Notes Mell kicks a piece of debris.
38. Dialog MELL: Everything is wrecked. Action Notes Wide shot of the ruined prison compound from above.
39. Action Notes Mell bends down as Dave stands up and looks around.
40. Dialog DAVE: Where is everybody?
41. Dialog DAVE: My brothers! Action Notes Mell picks up a gnawed human bone.
42. Dialog MELL: Something got ‘em. Non-human.
43. Dialog MELL: Too many tooth marks on the bones. Action Notes Mell tosses the bone aside
44. Action Notes Dave tenses up
46. Dialog MELL: Something chewed through the wall here.
47. Dialog MELL: Heh. That’s what our Mega Gerbils used to do in the lab.
48. Action Notes An Ur-Gerbil springs our from behind the wall. Mell jerks back.
49. Action Notes Another Ur-Gerbil emerges.
51. Dialog DAVE: They’ve gone wild? Even when they were tame, they were unstoppable omnivores who trampled everything.
52. Dialog Ur-Gerbils: Grrrr. Action Notes The Ur-Gerbils close in around the gang
53. Dialog UR-GERBIL: (growling continues)
54. Dialog ARTIE: What?
55. Dialog ARTIE: No! We mean no harm.
56. Dialog ARTIE: We mean--
57. Dialog ARTIE: --no harm Action Notes The Ur-Gerbils begin to circle around the gang.
58. Dialog DAVE: Artie!
59. Dialog DAVE: You can talk to them?
60. Dialog ARTIE: You can't?
61. Action Notes The Ur-Gerbils continue to circle.
63. Dialog ARTIE: This is Bob, he’s some kind of minister here.
64. Dialog ARTIE: You’re legally his food now, so be polite.
65. Dialog ARTIE: I think he said something about a religious gathering.
67. Action Notes Pushes Dave and Mell along to make them follow the "minister Ur-Gerbil".
