Get that Cat!

Paris, 1964. Audrey, a young timid bookseller, and her cat Carlos live together in a tiny apartment full of books. But Audrey’s life gets turned upside down when one morning Carlos runs away. While looking for Carlos, Audrey blunders into an undercover police operation, a stakeout meant to catch a mysterious super villain known only as the cat . . . Of course the detectives are convvinced she is part of the Cat’s gang and she is now their prime target.

In this sequence Audrey makes her way back home after she fell into the river Seine, she doesn’t notice the undercover detectives who are now watching her.

Get that Cat! is a personal project, based on an idea for a feature I have been playing around with. This sequence was done as part of Matt Jones’s Storyboarding for Feature Animation class.
