9. 9 Writing lets you express your work.
10. 10 Because if you won’t talk about your work, who will?
12. 12 “But, Bapu, why should we let the outside world know about our work?”
13. 13 Your online presence improves.
14. 14 Your reputation improves in your domain’s community.
15. 15 You learn & retain better by writing about something.
16. 16 You get to educate & also get educated.
17. 17 You improve your communication skills.
18. 18 You could potentially get paid. (can’t stress on “potentially” enough)
19. 19 “Dude, it looks tough, (or) time-consuming, (or) <insert other excuses here>.”
20. 20 Tough? No*. *If you find it tough to put things on paper but have a solid article idea, we can help you with that.
21. 21 Time-consuming? No*. *You don’t have to give us a fully-polished, refined article, just a rough draft will do.
22. 22 “My article isn’t worth reading.” No*. *Even if you just share your views or experience about a library or anything that you’ve learnt, that still helps a ton.
23. 23 “Will I run out of article ideas?” No*. *Even if you do, just get back to your primary job. Good article ideas strike when you solve a problem there. Or sometimes in the shower.
24. 24 “But I don’t want to share what I know.” NOOOO*! *Sharing knowledge doesn’t take anything away from you. When someone else wins, that doesn’t always equal your loss.
25. 25 Worth it? Yes*. *It’s worth it. Trust me.
26. 26 Worth it? Yes*. *It’s worth it. Trust me.
