We've been living and working under a pandemic for over 6 months now... so how are you? No really, how are you doing? We can't 'tech' our way to a more satisfying balance when it comes to our virtual work and life. In this talk, I offer a different way to look at how to invest in your team, and 3 easy things you can do right now to improve things for you and everyone you work (or live!) with.

    control of your schedule, or others will control it for you Analyse your working habits, and optimise for focus time, meeting time, reflection time, and regeneration time
  8. DESIGN YOUR CALENDAR TO MATCH THAT STRUCTURE Design a weekly

    or bi-weekly schedule that works for you Use calendar.com to set up blocks of time for different kinds of availability and action
  9. 3 KINDS OF ICEBREAKERS Getting to know one another better

    Getting brains ready for a new task Lifting the energy and mood
  10. ADD SOME RANDOMNESS Use a random picker to inject some

    random play into meetings Examples: wheeldecide.com wheelofnames.com namepicker.net
  11. INTEGRATE INTERACTIVE TOOLS IN MEETINGS Example: Adding a QR code

    (from https://qrcode-monkey.com) in a Mural canvas, to make it easy for breakout rooms to pool results into one place.
