So far you have just been learning individual characters.
While many characters are used on their own, it is
actually more common for characters to be combined with one (or sometimes more) other characters in order to make words.
Often the meaning of the word will be obvious from
the characters that make it up.
But not always: As with the meanings of individual characters,
sometimes it takes a bit of imagination to work why a word means what it does.
And that is what makes it fun! (he says, optimistically...)
So now let’s take a look at a few combinations
of words (then go back and try to spot them on the menu!)
