5. The truth is that computer science isn’t really about the computer. The computer is just a tool to help you see ideas more clearly. You can see the moon and stars without a telescope, smell the flowers without a fluoroscope, have fun without a funoscope!
6. You can also play with computer science without a computer. IDEAS are the real stuff of computer science.
7. Words to Numbers - Binary • Computers store info by using 0 and 1 • Everything you see or hear, pictures, movies, words, sounds are stored using these two numbers.
8. Grace Hopper - “Amazing Grace” • A Computer Scientist that made the 1st Compiler or Translator so computers could understand the language programmers write code. • She was also an Admiral.
