  1. “ And when you pray, do not heap up empty

    phrases as the Gentiles do, for they think that they will be heard for their many words. Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him. Pray then like this:
  2. Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom

    come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
  3. For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father

    will also forgive you, but if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

  5. What? A radical declaration of who we are to God

    How? By the blood of Jesus Why? Grace, free and unmerited God, our Father
  6. And because you are sons, God has sent the Spirit

    of his Son into our hearts, crying, “Abba! Father!” So you are no longer a slave, but a son, and if a son, then an heir through God. Galatians 4:6-7 God, our Father

  9. When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and

    all the angels with him, then he will sit on his glorious throne...Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. Matthew 25:31-34 The kingdom of God
  10. Being asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God

    would come, he answered them, “The kingdom of God is not coming with signs to be observed, nor will they say, ‘Look, here it is!’ or ‘There!’ for behold, the kingdom of God is in the midst of you.” Luke 17:20-21 The kingdom of God

  12. God provides for us daily. But life’s still hard. Doing

    Aim to follow God’s commandments Trusting Depend on the God who’s in control of it all Running the race
  13. And we know that for those who love God all

    things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28 Running the race
  14. So we pray. Because we have a good, caring God

    who wants us to look to him for all of our needs. Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
