6. Please note that although nonimmigrant visa charges are valid for a calendar year, choices to program an appointment are limited. The U.S. Embassy schedules thousands and thousands of nonimmigrant visa appointments annually and has to accommodate requests equally for new appointments and also for those applicants who must reschedule their appointments for any reason. Applicants are just permitted to reschedule twice (not including the initial appointment) without penalty. In the event the next rescheduling effort is canceled, an applicant is only going to be permitted to reschedule a new date following a waiting period of 90 days.
