Content: • Create a balance between nature and figures. • Include space for title and some text. • Visitor numbers to Maryland State Parks is climbing, and in some cases, filling the parks beyond capacity. The surg in part attendance is both good and bad - the appreciation and enjoyment of nature is important to keep the parks going but it also causes increased wear and tear - with many locations struggling to update and maintain facilities. More funds for park improvements & new parks is in the works.
