A school project about learning English using modern equipment to a quite proficient level.

2. Objects and goals: 
 1. To research modern ways of studying English. 
 2. To prove that using modern technique methods can shorten and intensify the way of studying English. 
 3. To use different ways to improve my English.
3. Research methods: 
 1. Bookwork.
 2. The Internet record retrieval.
 3. Personal practice in different ways of studying English.
 4. Discussing with my school teachers.
4. These are the reasons why I believe that English is very useful and interesting: ! - to understand people from other countries - to read books - watch movies - to use complicated equipment.
5. This is one of my first electronic helper. I liked to press its buttons in the kindergarten. Since that time I have understood that English lessons might be fascinating. pencil c = [s], cap c= [k]
6. We all often use mobile phones. It's possible to choose English in them and remember new words. I learnt a lot of useful words in that way. Call me please!
7. Most adult people think that there is no use in computer games. But these games can help children in studying English. If you can’t translate you will not do installation settings and will not understand messages while playing. My game consoles Nintendo Wii is in English.
8. Now everybody knows about Internet. There is a lot of interesting things but the main lnternet language is English. I know some interlanguage translator but we can’t trust them completely.
9. My favourite site with an English training programm is LinguaLeo. There are films, books, songs and funny stories. You can communicate with different people, enrich your vocabulary…
 It does not matter how slowly you go so long as you do not stop.
10. It’s very nice to learn English watching favorite films. I saw many films in the following way: at first in Russian then in Russian with English subtitles. And finally in English. “Yeah, he’s a kid. Kids are stupid.”
11. Another good way is to talk with smartphones’ assistants who answer oral questions. You must ask in English and you may get a rather funny reply.
12. iPad can be also a good helper. You can take it on the road, watch films, read books and translate speaking on-line. There are some language studying applications too. …Isn't it funny How a bear likes honey?
13. In summer our family received an American student Anja Selland. A personal contact with her helped me very much: I stopped being ashamed and start speaking. Now we are friends and can talk on Skype.. For studying oral English it’s good to mix with a friendly speaker who doesn’t know Russian. Appa-the-Hamster and All, All, All
14. Results: 1. It takes me only 5 minutes to prepare for any dictation.
 2. I can read English books in original. My vocabulary is more than the vocabulary of the 3rd form pupil.
 3. It’s easy for me to understand English speech at once. 4. I have never gone to any English courses but recently have passed an exam in BKC language school. The level of my English is Upper Intermediate. The BKC teachers were very surprised as usually students have to learn English for 5 years to reach this result.
 5. My classmates who followed my practice improved their English.
 6. My English teacher uses some of my ideas at our lessons. We began to watch more English cartoons and there are some positive results in the pupils’ marks.

 So my practice illustrates an extra effective use of modern ways of learning English. The using of modern technologies is so easily accessible and attractive that studying can be just a game. You can meet English everywhere. You can see a lot of methods of studying foreign languages. But it is important for learning to be joyful. I’ll be glad if my experience will be useful for somebody.
