Participatory Action Design Studio Participatory Action Art Mentorship Program Instructions & Needs: • Redesign of the “Penn Roomˮ at sayre and adjacent hallway • College Counseling/Outreach services for students • Weekly Animation, Architecture, and Design mentorship program • Operate as an one-on-one mentor mentee structure: each high school student is paired up with a Penn mentor who majors or minors in one of the art areas, such as animation, architecture, design, and others. • Penn mentors will visit Sayre High School every week, guide their assigned mentees throughout the program, help them learn the power of art and storytelling and new skills and art medium, and assist them in creating their artwork. • Each mentor will develop their own curriculum with and for their mentee.
