    Ejun Hong CREATIVE DIRECTION RESEARCH & BRAINSTORMING ROUND 1 DELIVERABLES FEEDBACK ROUND 2 DELIVERABLES MAIN PROJECTS - JEP! (1) ! PCJ - GFX CARDS EXPLORATION Based on the PCJ! logo and current color scheme (available at PCJ!), create various design options for the PCJ! Globe. Conducted research on the history of Jeopardy! and Pop Culture to gather inspiration and resources. Delivered the first round of deliverables, which included four globe explorations and three storyboards for the PCJ! Opening. Link to the full deliverables Received feedback as follows: - Adhere to the composition and layout of the original Jeopardy! opening sequence. - Reduce abstraction and make the design resemble a clear globe with continents. - Experiment with different styles and iterations. - Omit the storyboards and character design explorations. Parameters: - Subject: Ken Jennings - Hashtag: #JeopardyFanArt - Dimensions: 4:5 - Include: Timelapse video Conducted research, gathered reference images, and created sketches of potential design options. Received feedback as follows: - The current direction is not what we're looking for. - Create an illustrative sketch of Ken Jennings. - The sketch can be relatively rough, including visible sketch lines and outlines. - Use Procreate for the illustration. - Record the process and create a timelapse video showing the production process. Collected assets for luggage tags, cities, general travel stickers, and transportation from Gettyimages based on the provided style guide. Delivered the first round of deliverable.     05_REFLECTION What I learned from the internship experience: • Gained a better understanding of the pipeline of the social & digital assets production • Improved my skills and knowledge in designing through both the projects that gave me more creative control over and projects that taught me how to follow and develop upon from the existing design brand guide • Improved my communication and collaboration skills by collaborating with a team of designers, managers, editors, and directors • Connected with industry professionals, both inside and outside of the Social & Digital team, and learned about the overall structure, production pipeline, and the core values and goals of the studio. • Received feedback and guidance for improving and refining my personal art style Ejun Hong

    am returning to the University of Pennsylvania as a senior. Below is a list of my goals for the next year at Penn and for post-graduation. Senior Year at Penn: - As I enter my senior year with a double major in Fine Arts and Cinema and Media Studies, my goal is to focus on the theme of "Me, You, Us," creating artwork that reflects my stories and voices ("Me"), shares the power of art with others and encourages them to tell their own stories through art ("You"), and produces work that tackles societal issues and empowers underrepresented communities (“Us").
