  1. Don’t get wrapped up and forget your plan. Plan to

    advance your skill set. If you are not learning move on.
  2. Do not overextend yourself, and overwork Set realistic lofty timelines

    Do not oversell yourself As a rule of thumb allow one to two hours more Projects are ALWAYS more complicated than expected Make sure your getting the right amount of sleep
  3. Be willing to admit when you do not know something.

    Being a know it all will give others the impression you are inexperienced. Do not be afraid to ask questions.
  4. Be Careful how you Write your Emails Always write your

    emails in a professional manner. Make sure your content is work related.
  5. Understand your Office Culture Try and abide by the office

    norms Do not be the office drone Do not come in late or extremely early
  6. CONNECT with your coworkers! Always speak with those around you

    This will increase : Your network Technical skills Help you advance in your company
  7. Be easy to approach Communication is really key! If you

    have a question do not be afraid to ask those around you for help. This will make you more approachable
  8. Make sure it will help you complete a task or

    reduce work time. Give the item or permission back
