Abstract: It seems that microservices are increasingly being hailed as the panacea of architecture. However, many organizations are completely unprepared for the technical, operational, and organizational consequences of this approach. Deploying and running microservice-based systems will bring new challenges to the devops table. Some of these challenges can be alleviated by the recent container movement (of course, not without introducing some new ones). In this talk, we'll take a look at using Docker for deploying microservice architectures as well as the options provided by (or missing from) the current ecosystem.
