  2. HOW TO SCHEDULE TWEETS USING TWEETDECK
    DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL TWEETDECK
You can download TweetDeck for free. In this example, we’ll be looking at how to make scheduled
tweets from a desktop computer, so you will need to download the desktop application for
    TweetDeck.
You can find the download link labelled “Desktop” located on the top menu or at the bottom with
the desktop computer image. Click on the link to be taken to the desktop download page. Click the
“Download now” button to install it to your computer. The TweetDeck desktop application works on
    both PCs and Mac computers.
Press “Save” or “Open” once the download has finished. Since you’ll be using TweetDeck right away,
pressing “Open” would be the ideal option so you can start setting up your TweetDeck dashbarod.
Press “Install” and choose the location on your computer to save it. Press “Continue” and wait for
the application to launch after it finishes the installation.
CONNECT YOUR TWITTER ACCOUNT TO TWEETDECK
Once you’ve launched TweetDeck, the desktop application will appear, along with a window
welcoming you to TweetDeck and asking you to connect your social media accounts.
With TweetDeck, you can connect multiple accounts from Twitter, Facebook, MySpace, LinkedIn,
    Foursquare and Google Buzz.
Press “Get started” to add your Twitter account.

  3. ADD YOUR ACCOUNT
Click “Add New Account” and then press the “Twitter” button. Enter your Twitter username and
Twitter password and then press “Verify Details” to connect your Twitter account to TweetDeck.
Once your user information has been verified, your Twitter username will appear in TweetDeck’s
Account List box either as your default account or as an additional account.
Press “Save settings” to save everything and close the setup window.
    WRITE YOUR TWEETS
Before you do anything, first make sure that the account you want the tweet to appear on is
activated on TweetDeck. If you only have one account currently set up, then you can disregard this.
However, if you have multiple accounts set up on TweetDeck, you need to click on the tiny Twitter
“t” and corresponding profile image at the top of the window so that it shows up in color, which
activates that particular account. The other accounts that appear to be black and white will remain
    deactivated.
Write your tweet in the input box provided, making sure it is no more than 140 characters. If it is
longer, TweetDeck will automatically set it up so that readers are sent to a third party application to
read the rest of the tweet.
You can provide long links in the tweet. TweetDeck will automatically shorten your links using
    the Bit.ly URL shortener.

Now it’s time to schedule the tweet you made in the previous step to be sent out at a specific time,
    automatically.
Beside the “Send” button, you should see a button with an icon that looks like a clock. Press that
    icon.
If you don’t already have an official TweetDeck account, TweetDeck will ask you to sign up for one.
All you have to do is enter your email address and a password. Once you save those settings, the
window will close and you will be able to resume scheduling your tweet
Press the button with the clock icon again and choose the date and time that you want the tweet to
be sent out. Press “Set Time” and then press “Send Today XX:XX” to finish the scheduling.
A column labelled “Scheduled Updates” will appear in your TweetDeck application for you to keep
track of scheduled tweets. Now you can leave your computer and wait for TweetDeck to do the
