3. Lip Sync General Information Short for lip synchronization technical term for matching lip movements with pre-recorded sung or spoken vocals lip-synching is done by some singers to ensure that the vocal performance will sound as good as the CD
4. Band Sync General Information • Band sync is not very different from what lip sync is. Essentially It is the same, only synchronising instruments instead of voices.
5. Dominant ideologies • Lady Gaga is presented as a dominant figure in this specific music video. • By the use of camera angles and mise en scene this view is heightened. • This is done on purpose of show her dominance in the music world. People might even call this boasting.
6. Intertextuality • There are various examples of intertextuality in this music video, and there are various reasons for this. • An example would be the logo on the table. It’s a logo of BWIN, which is an online gambling platform. The reasons for this could be either for promotional purposes or even to highlight everything that’s seductive. And this is the message that she brings over to her audience.

8. Hyper reality -Lady gaga is not a real name. It’s a name create solely for her image -This is done to keep her personal life from affecting her superstar status -This allows her to take control of that life and do outrageous things for example wearing a meat dress.
9. Intertextual referencing -This is very common with lady Gaga, as she referrers to various old movies and artists when she does her videos. -An example would be in the clip “Telephone” where Lady Gaga drives the same car as in Kill Bill Vol. 1.
10. Lady Gaga -Many people say that Lady Gage's career is a replicate of Madonna's, as they are both equally famous and powerful in the music industry. -By comparing them both as individuals you can see clear resemblances.
