  2. Critiques for Group 19 - Site: Music Buddy • What

they did well: ◦ Splash page appearance is very professional, simplistic but refined. ◦ The site is simple and easy to navigate - user friendly. • What we learned from their website: ◦ Their site gave us more insight as to what a user is looking for on a site and how we can better improve our site based on those observations. • What can they do better? ◦ Information regarding the Artist, Track and Albums could be expanded upon. In regards to the pillar/model pages, possibly different attributes that could provide more details for each instance would be better. ◦ For each instance page of one of the pillars, there is little information. There are no external links, videos, or other additional information apart from what was basically already stated on the pillar pages. • What puzzles us about their website: ◦ Every page looks too similar and lacks distinct titles or other miscellaneous decor. Although their website is easy to navigate through the pages it is also just as easy to lose track of which page the user is on.
  3. Critiques for our group - Site : Food is Life

    • What we did well: ◦ Site is easy to navigate. ◦ Each page is distinct with unique pictures, links and descriptive information so the user knows where they are within the site at all times. ◦ Descriptive information for each instance. ◦ Site is well organized and is aesthetically pleasing. • What we learned: ◦ Implementing and using python, flask, bootstrap, bootswatch, and digital ocean. ◦ How to properly get the DNS to work and host our site • What can we do better? ◦ We could resize our images so some of the images aren’t disproportional looking. ◦ We make the website more visually appealing. • What puzzles us: ◦ How to have our website look like our previous version prior to using digital ocean and flask. i. Background images ii. Display images in chart/tables on pillar pages iii. Resizing and organization
