3. #AwsAsianWomensAssociation #AAWA What is AWS Asian Women's Association? •Launched in 2018, the first Meetup was held in Singapore in June 2019. •We worked together with female leaders from the AWS community in Asia and beyond to make this happen. We also have the support of fellow members of the empathetic AWS community to bring us together. •Through AWS, I hope to connect this activity to people around the world, not just in Asia. •This year, we were going to hold the event in Thailand, but after the ruckus, we were able to connect with people from all over the world at once. •'Women' is only one category. We aim to create a community where all people can coexist and respect each other. 3
4. #AwsAsianWomensAssociation #AAWA Why is AWS Asian Women's Association? •We want to connect with women who are active in the AWS world and share and empathize with the same people. •We want to deliver the expansion and excitement of communities where people can get involved deeply, not only to Asian countries, but to the world. •Through technology, we want to spread love, enthusiasm, peace, and equality to the world. •We want our activities to connect not only with women, but also with many sympathizers and lead to a better society. •We want to have fun with like-minded people. 4
5. #AwsAsianWomensAssociation #AAWA How would AWS Asian Women's Association be? •The offline space is very important. When we have a chance to gather, we will create a place to learn, empathize, and enjoy with you. •For a while, we're hoping to have a monthly online meetup. (The next one is scheduled for May 28.) •We're looking for people to help us run things together. We would like to circulate the content in each country. •I will respond to everyone's feedback. Let me know what content you all want to do. We'll hold it. •Your feedback can be via Meetup, Twitter, Facebook or even a direct message to me. I'll be waiting! 5
