  1. LEARNING ACTIVITY WHY GOOD LEADERS MAKE YOU FEEL SAFE -Dangerous

corporations and competition will always exist but you can control your inside environment like your workplace, where “the leader sets the tone”. -Creating a comforting and kind environment allows for a sense of belonging. Trust strengthens bonds between people, enabling better performance and successful accomplishments. -Leaders take risk first, making sure others are safe and comfortable before they are. Sacrificing their needs to make sure their followers needs are met first.
  2. IMPLEMENTING MY LEARNING LEADERSHIP -Leadership and communication is important in

any group setting from what I’ve learned in my internship. It’s always better to communicate problems sooner rather than never. -Creating any sort of organization whether it be a channel of communication that everybody can collaborate in and making sure information from our supervisor is announced to everyone. I made sure to relay any information as soon as possible. -If I saw anybody who had any questions I would compile them in an email to communicate to our supervisor. Alternatively if I knew the answer I would help any way I could. I created a welcoming environment encouraging my peers to ask questions and introduce themselves.
  3. STRENGTHENED MY SKILLS LEADERSHIP -I was assigned to be “Team

Captain”, this meant I was to communicate any information from my supervisor to my peers. I sent professional emails to my supervisor about any problems. I would send information back to my peers for anything our supervisor wanted us to learn. -This experience has allowed me to be more confident in my decisions as a leader and knowing that I can can be a strong leader without having to sacrifice my kindness or emotional intelligence. I have learned a lot about how others respond to problems and what to do in situation where your peer has a problem but doesn’t know how to communicate it to your supervisor in a professional manner. LEARNING AND GROWTH -In my internship I’ve gained a growth mindset, always willing to learn and grow. I take risks in my art and creativity always asking questions on how to improve and not being afraid of asking “basic” questions. I’m more optimistic to experiment with my work and showing my work -I’ve learned not to be so negative while presenting my work, if something is not to my standard I consider it a work in progress. After I present my work I reflect on it and reflect on the feedback given to me. Now I always think, what I could do better.
  4. OUTSIDE MY COMFORT ZONE + Volunteering myself to be a

leader has taught me to be more confident in my decisions. It’s allowed me to understand my peers artistically and personally as well. + Reaching out to my supervisor for my peers helped me build my professional emailing skills, making sure I was communicating everything properly. + Now I’m not afraid to ask questions and ask for help, no question is a dumb question. Questions and help are also important part of communication. + Sketching out everything instead of just writing it down and moving on, speeds up my creative process.
  5. FURTHER DEVELOPING SKILLS ENTREPRENEURIAL MINDSET -I only started to consider

being an entrepreneur but I would love to build on this mindset. I love being able to speak with others, I am very much a people person and I have a quite positive mindset. I lack in organizational and math skills but both skills I continue to improve on in my spare time. I’ve started making excel sheets blocking in every hour, filling it with things I’d be doing. -I’m exploring building my social media account for art and animation and making another account for fashion/ beauty/cosplay. TEAMWORK -I want to work on not being afraid to reach out to my peers, I enjoy communicating and collaborating with others but I’m afraid of overstepping boundaries when it comes to communication times. -I want to improve on my intrapersonal skills when it comes to teamwork, being able to make strangers into teammates. I need to remind myself to be curious about others, to remember I don’t know everything.
