  2. Duct Leak Test is used to measure the air tightness

    of forced air heating, ventilating and air-conditioning ductwork.

  6.  Duct leakage can cause up to 25% of a

    building's energy loss.  Extra amount of energy it actually takes for your AC unit to run which may result in more wear and tear to your unit.

  7. Return leaks pull outside air (hot in summer, cold in

    winter) into the duct system reducing both efficiency and capacity.

  10. A duct leakage test involves pressurizing the duct system with

    a calibrated fan and simultaneously measuring the air flow through the fan and its effect on the pressure within the duct system.
