  3. 02 A Return to the Roots The 2025 Annual Team

Retreat The pace of modern business demands relentless focus and high-intensity collaboration. Recognizing the critical need to balance this intensity with intentional rest and cultural reinforcement, J Tribe executed its highly anticipated annual team picnic on September 19, 2025. Far exceeding the scope of a simple company outing, the retreat was a strategic investment in the well-being and operational synergy of our most valuable asset: our people. This year, the team gathered at Anjanvel Agri Tourism in the picturesque, tranquil setting of Shilimb. The decision to select an agri-tourism venue was a deliberate choice to shift the focus from the corporate structure to personal connection, cultural grounding, and team resilience. The retreat was an overwhelming success, achieving its primary objective of fostering deeper professional bonds that will continue to drive performance and innovation across all our business units. The Canvas of Collaboration: Anjanvel Agri Tourism The destination itself played a pivotal role in the retreat's success. Nestled amidst the majestic *Sahyadri hills* and overlooking the serene backwaters of the Pawna Dam region, Anjanvel provided a pristine and restorative backdrop. This environment allowed the team to completely unplug from their digital routines and engage meaningfully with their colleagues. The atmosphere cultivated an effortless transition from the formal office environment to one of mutual discovery. The natural beauty of the location served as a powerful reminder of the value of perspective and tranquility—essential elements for maintaining mental clarity and strategic thinking. The Agenda: Maximizing Engagement and Well-being The day was meticulously structured to ensure a perfect balance of activity and relaxation, ECHOES OF JHAMTANI

Groups were intentionally mixed across departments (from Operations to Sales to Administration) to foster new lines of communication. Culinary & Cultural Integration: The Heart of the Retreat The communal dining experience was arguably the centerpiece of the entire event. Moving away from standard catering, the team was treated to an authentic spread of fresh, *home-cooked Maharashtrian cuisine*. The shared experience of enjoying local flavors prepared with farm-fresh ingredients reinforced a strong sense of community. It celebrated simplicity and tradition, reminding everyone of the essential, shared human connection that underpins professional life. The collective energy during the meal was palpable, demonstrating the positive impact of breaking bread together in a relaxed setting. Management Reflection and The Path Ahead The success of the 2025 Annual Picnic underscores J Tribe’s foundational belief that a cohesive team is a successful team. The shared experience has translated into a visible uplift in morale and collaborative readiness. The energy and genuine connection we witnessed at Anjanvel are precisely what fuels our innovation," commented [Hypothetical Name], Head of Operations. "This retreat was a vital investment. 9. 08 Staying Relevant in an Ever-Changing World: An Architect’s Perspective

The world is evolving—fast. From climate shifts and urban migration to digital revolutions and changing lifestyles, every aspect of how we live, work, and interact with space is in transformation. For architects, this is both a challenge and an incredible opportunity. The question is: how do we stay relevant in such a fast-paced, ever-changing landscape? Working in the real estate sector gives architects a unique lens. We’re not only designing buildings—we’re interpreting policies, decoding trends, navigating new technologies, and responding to evolving human needs. Government schemes like PMAY (Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana) have pushed us to think more economically and inclusively, while urban policies such as UDCPR have reshaped how we approach FSI, height restrictions, and mixed-use development. This convergence of design and governance is redefining our role. Design trends in 2025 reflect this shift. There’s a growing demand for biophilic design, where nature is seamlessly integrated into our spaces through indoor courtyards, vertical gardens, and natural ventilation. Smart architecture—including automated lighting, adaptive facades, and energy management systems—is now a standard expectation. Tools like parametric design software and AI-based design assistance are helping architects visualize and simulate projects with astonishing accuracy. We’re moving from form-following-function to form - responding - to-data. CORE HIGHLIGHTS
  10. Yet, staying on top of these trends doesn’t require a

complete overhaul of our daily lives. It’s about building simple, smart habits. Here are a few practical steps that can make a lasting impact: Daily Knowledge Doses: Set aside just 15–20 minutes each day to read industry updates. Follow platforms like ArchDaily, Dezeen, COA, or even the LinkedIn pages of local authorities for design news, regulatory changes, and inspiration. Monthly Learning Goals: Aim to attend at least one webinar, workshop, or IGBC/EC policy briefing session every month. Many of these are available online and can be done during commute hours or breaks. Collaborate & Converse: Don’t underestimate the learning that comes from talking to consultants—whether it’s a structural engineer explaining load distribution or an EC consultant discussing compliance documentation. Every site visit or client meeting holds a hidden lesson. Document & Reflect: Maintain a personal archive—photos, sketches, PDFs of policies, and design notes. You’ll be surprised how often a past insight becomes the key to a current problem. As architects, our relevance isn’t defined by how trendy our designs look—it’s defined by how effectively we respond to context, community, climate, and policy. Being relevant is about staying curious. It’s about adapting, exploring, and never assuming we know enough. In the end, architecture is not just about what we build—it's about how we think. So as the world around us changes, let us evolve with it—one habit, one project, and one design decision at a time. Ms. Sneha Nenwani Architect - Liaisoning 09
  11. 10 Engineer’s Day A Tribute to Builders of the Nation

Every year on 15th September, India celebrates Engineer’s Day to honor Bharat Ratna Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya (1861–1962) – a legendary civil engineer, statesman, and visionary. He is remembered for his outstanding contribution to modern engineering and his role in nation-building. 13. 12 Aluform (Aluminium Formwork System) CORE HIGHLIGHTS Aluform, also known

as the Aluminium Formwork System, is a modern construction technology that uses lightweight aluminium panels to cast concrete structures — including walls, slabs, columns, beams, stairs, and other components — in a single pour. It provides a fast, accurate, and durable method of constructing reinforced concrete buildings, particularly high-rise residential and commercial structures. History and Development The Aluform system was first developed in the 1970s by a company called Mivan Company Ltd. in Europe (hence sometimes called Mivan Shuttering). Over time, the system gained popularity in India, Malaysia, Singapore, and the Middle East, mainly due to its speed, quality, and reusability.
  14. 13 Mr. Tanmay Badhe Jr. Engineer - Ace Atmosphere Components

of Aluform The Aluform system consists of several prefabricated aluminium panels and accessories: Wall Panels: For casting vertical concrete surfaces. Deck Panels: For slab casting. Beam Soffit and Beam Side Panels: To form beam structures. Prop Heads and Props: To support slabs temporarily. Pins and Wedges: For joining panels together. Kickers and Stop Ends: For alignment and boundary control. Wall Ties: To maintain wall thickness and alignment. Construction Process 1. Setting Out and Layout: Marking grid lines and reference levels. 2. Fixing Wall Panels: Positioning and aligning panels according to drawings. 3. Placing Reinforcement and Services: Steel bars, conduits, and sleeves are placed. 4. Fixing Deck and Beam Panels: Decks and beams are placed to complete the formwork. 5. Concreting: Concrete is poured monolithically for walls and slabs together. 6. De-shuttering: Panels are removed after 24–36 hours (depending on curing and temperature). 7. Repetition: Panels are cleaned, oiled, and reused for the next cycle. Advantages Speed: Enables one floor cycle in 4–5 days, saving time. Quality Finish: Smooth concrete surface reduces plastering needs. Durability: Aluminium panels can be reused over 200 times. Accuracy: Ensures precise dimensions and alignment. Less Skilled Labor Required: Assembly is simpler than traditional formwork. Monolithic Construction: No joints between wall and slab, improving strength and leak resistance. Disadvantages High Initial Cost: Costly formwork setup and design. Limited Flexibility: Difficult to modify layout or design once panels are fabricated. Maintenance: Panels can be damaged by mishandling. Skilled Supervision Required: Requires accurate planning and quality control. Comparison with Conventional Formwork
  15. 22 14 Mr. Dilip Divaskar Safety Officer Why is a

Safety Officer needed? Having a licensed safety officer on a construction site is necessary for several reasons: 1. Compliance with Regulations: Construction sites are subject to numerous regulations and safety standards set forth by local, state, and federal governments. A licensed safety officer ensures that the site is compliant with these regulations, reducing the risk of fines and legal penalties. 2. Risk Management: Construction sites pose numerous hazards, including falls, electrical hazards, hazardous materials, and machinery accidents. A safety officer identifies these risks and implements measures to mitigate them, reducing the likelihood of accidents and injuries. 3. Worker Safety: The primary responsibility of a safety officer is to ensure the safety and well-being of workers on the construction site. He conducts safety training, enforces safety protocols, and performs regular inspections to identify and address potential hazards. 4. Prevention of Accidents: Accidents on construction sites can result in injuries, fatalities, property damage, and project delays. By proactively identifying and addressing safety hazards, a licensed safety officer helps prevent accidents from occurring in the first place. 5. Enhanced Productivity: A safe working environment is essential for productivity on a construction site. When workers feel safe and confident in their surroundings, they can focus on their tasks without worrying about potential hazards or accidents. 6. Liability Reduction: Employing a licensed safety officer demonstrates a commitment to safety, which can help reduce liability in the event of an accident or injury. It shows that the employer has taken reasonable steps to ensure a safe work environment. 7. Emergency Preparedness: Safety officers are trained to respond to emergencies such as fires, chemical spills, or medical emergencies. Their presence ensures that appropriate emergency procedures are in place and that workers know what to do in case of an emergency. CORE HIGHLIGHTS
