December 21 June 21 March 21 C O N T E X T The new development area is big in scale with big open public spaces, which doesn’t offer .protection in urban space The island has flat topography and it is exposed to hard sea weather conditions – wind and moisture The site is former industrial harbor, which is .manmade island taken away from sea City Counsil of Aarhus has dedicated harbour area for vast residential and mix use development. This is an area of fisheries, wooden ship harbor and Marina. This part of the city is retaining it’s program and keeping sea culture as an identity
