  7. Background: PowerPoint Austin template Color/Type/Size of Font: Century Gothic black,

sizes 20-22 Narration: You may be wondering, why should I use interactions? According to CAST (Center for Applied Special Technology), Universal Design for Learning or UDL is a set of principles for curriculum development that give individuals equal opportunities to learn. Each of us learns in a different way, therefore we must be cognizant of different methods when developing training. Present information and content in different ways. Differentiate the ways that students can express what they know. Stimulate interest and motivation for learning. Audio: None Animation: Graphic on the left will be larger and centered. When narration begins talking about the second graphic, the first graphic will shrink in size and move to the bottom left while the second graphic will appear in the center. Highlight boxes will surround each column as it is mentioned by audio. Audience Interaction: Next button 7

  9. Background: PowerPoint Austin template Color/Type/Size of Font: Century Gothic black,

sizes 20-22 Narration: Before you can understand how to write a business plan, you need to know what it is. A business plan consists of the Executive Summary, Company Description, Market Analysis, Organization & Management, Service or Product Line, Marketing & Sales, Funding Request, Financial Projections, and the Appendix. Audio: None Animation: None Audience Interaction: Next button 9
  10. Background: PowerPoint Austin template Color/Type/Size of Font: Century Gothic black,

sizes 20-22 Narration: Since the part of the first plain text slide and the entire second and third slides are definitions, creating a design out of the topics with buttons to find the definitions is more appealing. Click on each square to learn more. Audio: None Animation: Each square will appear one by one in order. Audience Interaction: Click on each square/button for the definition to appear. Next button [developer note: add definitions of each as a text box in Captivate.] 10
  11. Background: PowerPoint Austin template Color/Type/Size of Font: Century Gothic black,

sizes 20-22 Narration: Let’s test your knowledge! As a developer, it is important to provide quiz questions in your training to allow for user interaction and to test the learner’s knowledge. Always provide feedback on the correct and incorrect answers. Audio: None Animation: None Audience Interaction: Next button 11
  12. Background: PowerPoint Austin template Color/Type/Size of Font: Century Gothic black,

sizes 20-22 Narration: Using Adobe Captivate, I created user interactions with white boxes over the imported PowerPoint slides. The white boxes allows you to have the text or image appear with the audio narration. I also used buttons with advanced actions to show and hide text boxes. Also using advanced actions, I created quiz questions that show both correct and incorrect answers. Audio: None Animation: None Audience Interaction: Next button 12
