    sport using new vocabulary and grammar

  3. We use play with ball sports. Example: I play football

    with my friends in summer. We use go with sports ending in –ing Example: She goes swimming twice a week. We use do with other sports and individual sports. Example: They do karate every day. * But there are some exceptions: do fencing do weight lifting do kick boxing, boxing

    “Popular British Sports and Games”. • Please, open your Students books at page 239 exercise 19. • How many types of sport have you found?
  7. The rules There are 12 cards: 11 cards with the

    names of sports and one card – leader (interviewer). The interviewer asks all sportsmen in a turn the following questions: What`s your name? What sport do you do? Why do you think sport is important? In the end of the interview all the participants should come to the conclusion and give two or three main reasons why sport is important.
  8. In order to keep fit and stay healthy you should
