  1. The  early  church  leaders  described  the  Trinity   using  the

term  perichoresis  (peri-‐circle  resis-‐ dance):    The  Trinity  was  an  eternal  dance  of  the   Father,  Son  and  Spirit  sharing  mutual  love,  honour,   happiness,  joy  and  respect…  God’s  act  of  creaCon   means  that  God  is  inviCng  more  and  more  beings   into  the  eternal  dance  of  Joy.    Sin  means  that   people  are  stepping  out  of  the  dance…  stomping   on  feet  instead  of  moving  with  grace,  rhythm  and   reverence.    Then  in  Jesus,  God  enters  creaCon  to   restore  the  rhythm  and  beauty  again.
  2. John  17:25-‐26     25  ‘Righteous  Father,  though  the

world  does  not  know  you,  I  know   you,  and  they  know  that  you  have   sent  me.  26  I  have  made  you  known   to  them,  and  will  conFnue  to  make   you  known  in  order  that  the  love   you  have  for  me  may  be  in  them  and   that  I  myself  may  be  in  them.’
  3. Heb  1:1-‐3   1  In  the  past  God  spoke  to

our  ancestors   through  the  prophets  at  many  Fmes  and  in   various  ways,  2  but  in  these  last  days  he   has  spoken  to  us  by  his  Son,  whom  he   appointed  heir  of  all  things,  and  through   whom  also  he  made  the  universe.  3  The   Son  is  the  radiance  of  God’s  glory  and  the   exact  representaFon  of  his  being,   sustaining  all  things  by  his  powerful  word.   AOer  he  had  provided  purificaFon  for  sins,   he  sat  down  at  the  right  hand  of  the   Majesty  in  heaven.
  4. Rom  8:14-‐17     14  For  those  who  are  led

by  the  Spirit  of   God  are  the  children  of  God.  15  The  Spirit   you  received  does  not  make  you  slaves,  so   that  you  live  in  fear  again;  rather,  the  Spirit   you  received  brought  about  your  adopFon   to  sonship.  And  by  him  we  cry,  ‘Abba,   Father.’  16  The  Spirit  himself  tes8fies  with   our  spirit  that  we  are  God’s  children.   17  Now  if  we  are  children,  then  we  are   heirs  –  heirs  of  God  and  co-‐heirs  with   Christ,  if  indeed  we  share  in  his  sufferings  in   order  that  we  may  also  share  in  his  glory.
