3. The Solution: Human Identity Blockchain Initiative What is HIBI? HIBI is a software development kit that provides ONTOCHAIN developers with a fundamental tool for trustworthy, formalized, privacy-preserving and decentralized identity management Two main modules of HIBI 1. EverKEY - Decentralized Backup and Recovery Protocol using governmental eIDs → Never be afraid of losing your private keys, as long as you have access to your ID 2. EverID - Derive Verifiable Credentials from an eID and make it verifiable using the eIDAS-to-SSI Bridge → SSI-compliant credential after W3C standard. Widely useable among the Internet The Role of eID eID authenticates the user and acts as trust anchor for the Verifiable Credentials
