    REPUTABLE - A Provenance-aware Decentralized
    Reputation System for Blockchain-based Ecosystems
o To develop a decentralized, reliable and verifiable reputation system (REPUTABLE) that can achieve
trustworthy reputation modelling of external services within a blockchain ecosystem (ONTOCHAIN).
    o Key outcomes:
    • Anonymity of feedback by de-linking user identity
    • Develop an aggregate reputation score for a service provider based on user feedback
    • Capture and maintain provenance of the reputation scores
    • Store reputation data (agg. score & raw feedback)
    • Aggregate score stored on-chain (integrity checking, verifiability)
    • Raw feedback stored off-chain (linked with on-chain reputation scores)
    • Query interface to enable user verification, analytics and interoperability with other services

ONTOCHAIN Open Calls aim at projects developing scalable blockchain, decentralized reputation systems and semantic web
technologies, in order to achieve trustworthy content handling and information exchange as well as trustworthy service
exchange in the next generation Internet for vital sectors of the European economy.
Open Call 2 specific objective is to implement an infrastructure that will host ONTOCHAIN’s trustworthy data,
metadata and services, as well as specific software solutions that can be used widely, further extending the use cases
and the architectural features planned by the end of the Open Call 1.

    WHAT ARE THE FUNDING CRITERIA?
    21
Each proposal is evaluated by a set of two
experts according to the following criteria:
    Finalist
    proposals
    Online interviews
1-Credibility of proposed project outcomes: Based on
the explanations of the proposed solutions, implementation
plan, and evaluation of the overall expected value of each
    project proposal.
2-Value for money: Significance of the project outcomes
for ONTOCHAIN with respect to the project duration.
    3-Collaborative Spirit/Commitment: Evidence of the
applicant’s willingness to enter the ONTOCHAIN
community/ecosystem and commitment to get involved in
    the future.
    4-Business compatibility: Understand early exploitation
plans and compatibility check against joint overall
    exploitation plans for ONTOCHAIN platform.

WILL ONTOCHAIN MANDATES TO BUILD ON SPECIFIC PROTOCOLS?
    22
Different open source solutions already exist for the design and integration of the different layers of the
ONTOCHAIN architecture. Developpers, if willing and needing so, can also rely on the blockchain
platform provided by iExec which already integrates low level layers of an analogue architecture, i.e.
application protocols, core protocols and distributed ledger.
In any case, the ONTOCHAIN project plans to (re)design, extend and otherwise integrate existing
platforms and solutions, so that they can become integral and interoperable parts of the ONTOCHAIN
    software ecosystem.
The applicants are encouraged to use standards and widely used protocols to allow graceful integration
with existing software. With regard to this, a community approach is necessary in order to be able to
advance DLT research and innovation and properly integrate open data and semantics with current and
    future Blockchains.

WHAT IS THE IEXEC PLATFORM FEATURES?
    23
The iExec platform has been developed with more than four years of efforts by iExec: an innovative
SME French company whose founders came from the Inria and the Chinese Academy of Science.
It supports public, private and federated blockchain solutions.
It connects cloud resource sellers with cloud resource buyers, encouraging an ecosystem of
decentralized and autonomous, privacy-preserving application, which allows to support a decentralized
marketplace of applications, data and resources through decentralized cloud computing in Ethereum.
It can be used by ONTOCHAIN participants to base their evolutions and is available under the open
    source license Apache 2.0.
For more information about the code and sources you can access:
    http://github.com/iexecBlockchainComputing/
For example Dapps, you can access:

CAN I SUBMIT A PROPOSAL CONSIDERING A MAIN NET OF MY CHOICE?
    24
While ONTOCHAIN is open to solutions that can be supported by a number of blockchains, our
current L1 blockchain choice is Ethereum.
Solutions employing Ethereum L2 and higher layer technologies on top are anticipated to be
    part of the ONTOCHAIN framework.
Solutions implemented into different blockchains should be able to interoperate with the rest of
    the ecosystem through proper bridges.
Having said the above, while different main nets can theoretically be chosen, we strongly
encourage applicants to consider Ethereum for their solution prototypes.
