The Ruby language powers some of the most successful startups on the web. Products by 37signals, Groupon, Shopify, GitHub, and Twitter are among the best known. Of course, Ruby isn't the sole reason for the success of these ventures. Each is based on a sound business model.

This talk features an overview of Business Model Generation, one methodology for creating a business model that works. Ray Hightower delivered this presentation at the Lean Startup Machine Conference in Chicago, IL in January 2012.
