It Takes a Village to Make a Programmer - eurucamp 2014

This is the story of how I changed careers in less than a year, from zero to fully employed web developer. I worked hard, but I was able to flourish and succeed because of the help I received from individuals and organizations throughout my extended network. This talk is meant to inspire you with concrete ways you can help out in your own community to welcome newcomers and career-changers.
