    and actionable formats possible as standard so it can be shared, re-used, and

  8. Open data is data that can be freely used, re-used

    and redistributed by anyone - subject only, at most, to the requirement to attribute and sharealike
  9. But Information needs to be open as well, so it

    
 can be: • Read easily by humans and machines • Indexed and searched properly (not just by google) • Displayed on a range of devices and formats This means • In HTML (or variants) • Alternatively files should have good metadata associated with them, relevant & contextual file names • A focus on “Findability”
