Over the past couple of years, “having a seat at the table” has become one of the most widely-discussed topics in the research community. However, once that seat has been earned, many researchers struggle to adapt to the needs and expectations of senior leaders and stakeholders, which are typically quite different from those of the product teams they’ve grown accustomed to working with.
