Typically, UX projects consist of something like: 9 A website design/refresh An application design A software/program design Some other interface design
might first ask: 10 Well about how long will a new website take? About how much will a mobile & web app cost? How many revisions of this program will we get? Can you make our interface look like X company’s design?
Before any work, ask: 14 Why do you think you need a new website? What problem will this mobile app solve your current one can’t? What does this program need to do that others can’t? What problem do your users face with your current interface?
Gather and mirror answers: 15 So what I’m hearing you say is . . . So you would say that the real problem is . . . So your previous dev team didn’t work out because . . . So a major win for you would look like . . .
@thedrewwilson Now you’re asking. Not answering. 17 If my team can create an X that solves this problem, would you consider that a major success? If my team can provide a proposal between X and Y price, will that fit within your project? If my team can finish this project in a X timeframe, would that work for you?
