Part of the Aspect Annual Event 2020 webinar series, this session explored how we work across disciplines and sectors to engage with sustainability at a micro and macro level. Featuring a broad range of research and practice at the University of Glasgow and associated partners, the presented approach strives towards a long-term and holistic approach to policymaking and planning for sustainability.

Governance: Non-Financial Reporting of FSTE 100 Companies • Large-scale companies have a significant role in relation to sustainability. • This project examined the strategic reports of FSTE 100 companies and compliance with non-financial reporting requirements. • The team also evaluated how the regulatory framework helps to inform stakeholders, such as environmental organisations and workforce organisations, in order to allow them to participate in corporate decision-making. • This research has relevance at the individual company level but also in terms of systemic matters regarding sustainability.
