  5. Creating a Business Page • Go to https://www.facebook.com/pages/create.php; • Choose

    from a classification; • Fill in your business name (ensure your business name is registered and there are no trade mark issues); • You will be asked to fill in address details; • You will be asked to upload a profile photo – this will show each time your page appears (picture needs to be 180 x 180

    your business; • You will then need to upload your cover photo – this is a great place to showcase your business; • Cover Photo cannot have more than 20% text • The dimensions are 851 x 315; • Make sure you select a horizontal image that will appeal to users who land on your page; • Your page has been created; • After 25 likes you can change your username or vanity name;

    post at least one to three times a day; • You need to engage users; • You should ask questions; • Pictures with photos get more likes; • Comments with the words like, share or comment get more likes, shares and comments • Don’t always talk about yourself

    the down button near your cover photo; • You will see overview, likes, reach and talking about this • Click on Likes and see who liked you and who unliked you (if you have a few unlikes ask yourself why?) • Talking About You – this is very important • Negative feedback will influence Edgerank • Edgerank is how you will appear in a liker’s newsfeed
